Angels Stadium - Needs Updating
Angels Stadium was built in 1966 and you can tell! Our family was very excited to mark this stadium off the list, especially since the boys are Ohtani and Trout fans. The game we saw was AMAZING and a true Angels experience, however the stadium left much to be desired. There was no shade from the California sun and everythin was extremely hot.Overall, this was a great experience, but definietly not on our list of favorite ballparks.
- Food availability and quality: 3/5
- Nothing stuck out as truly amazing when it came to food. We had the standard fare of frozen lemonade and hot dogs, but nothing screamed WOW. The hotdog was good, but again nothing special. Angels Stadium does have Uber Eats, however, so you can order your food ahead and pick it up from a designated spot instead of waiting in line.
- Atmosphere: 3/5
- There was really no atmosphere. Everyone was nice and the game was enjoyable, but there was nothing special about the atmosphere that stuck out. One thing that was weird about this ballpark is that their dugouts are the opposite of most stadiums, meaning we sat with visitor fans during the game, which likely affected our opinion a bit.
- Family Friendly: 2/5
- Because Angels Stadium is older, it didn't have the features of newer ballparks, like things for kids to do. There was nothing deterring kids from visiting, but nothing really attracting them there either.
- Park Upkeep: 3.5/5
- There was nothing broken or in disrepair at Angels Stadium, however the park could use an update.
